O.K. don't worry if you lose to the zigzagoon, because it will give you as many tries as you need, same with every single battle in this game. After you win, go back to Prof. Birch's lab and he will give you the pokemon you used to battle. Walk out of his lab, and walk up. Wild pokemon will jump out at you if you're in the tall grass. Learn all about that in the guide on this blog. You will get to a little town called Odale Town. Go into the building with the red roof. You will learn more about this in the guide. Walk up to the desk and talk to th lady with pink hair. She will rest your pokemon and make them healthy again (fill their HP). After she does this, walk out and you will see a lady with a apron on. Talk to her and she'll give you a potion. Learn more about the potion in the guide. Continue walking up and you will see Brendan (or May). Talk to him, and you'll go into battle with him. Once you win, go back to the lab. You'll get a pokedex and four pokeballs. Learn more about theese in the guide. See next post.
